The Effect of Competitive Advantage, Marketing Tactics, and Export Commitment on Export Performance

Abstract:
This article aimed to study the effect of competitive advantage, marketing tactics, and export commitment on export performance. This is a descriptive survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The statistical population consisted of carpet exporter of Tehran province, Iran in 2015. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were employed to analyze the data using LISREL and SPSS. According to the results of hypothesis testing, competitive advantage and export commitment had an effect on export performance, while marketing tactics had no effect on export performance. In fact, it is claimed that marketing tactics adaptability had no effect direct effect on export performance. It can, however, be effective in export performance by mediating the perceived competitive advantages.

Abstract:
It is generally accepted that all of the private and governmental organizations, requires the evaluation and measurement of their performance, in which they can examine effectiveness and efficiency of processes, organizationís programs and human resource plans to develop, grow and maintain stability in todayís competitive market. Hence the current paper, for evaluation and ranking of provinces in road transportation area, presents an approach which is based on data envelopment analysis method. The presented approach calculates the deviation of each province based on input and output criteria, and finally rank them based on their effectiveness.

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of export commitment and marketing tactics adaptability on export performance. This is a descriptive survey in which a questionnaire was employed to collect data. The statistical population includes the carpet exporters of Tehran Province in 2015. The confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling technique were used for the inferential analysis of data in LISREL and SPSS. According to the results of testing hypotheses, it was confirmed that export commitment had an effect on export performance. However, the effect of marketing tactics adaptability on export commitment was not confirmed. It was also confirmed that export commitment had an effect on marketing tactics adaptability.
