Ehsan Abolfathi; Sadegh Sharifi; Mandana Abolfathi
Abstract:
The most important element of performance-based budgeting system is the plan. Plan, is a series of activities or projects or programs under supervision of specific executive unit that helps achieving the goals and methods via using available resources. Operational objectives of each plan must be estimable. Accordingly, budgeting and accounting should be done in a way that costs and revenues of each plan or activity should be clear for decision-makers. In this regard, minimizing the deviation in estimating costs in the plan, can be an effective method in reducing the plan general deviation. One of these methods is goal programming. In this paper, in order to increase the plan performance in operational planning and improving the cost of the subordinated devices and reduce the overall deviation of the plan in the governor-generalship of the Arak province, goal programming is used.

A New Method for Weight Assignment in Multi-Criteria Decision Making Based on Linear Algebra
Authors:
Saeid Pashazadeh; Mohsen Sharifi
Abstract:
Several methods have already been developed for weight assignment in multi-criteria decision making (MCDM). We use geometric algebra to propose a new method named geometric algebra projection (LAP) for weight assignment in MCDM. Our method presents a geometric view of MCDM problem and uses matrix computation for simplifying the computations. Distance square error is defined as a new criterion for evaluating accuracy of answers. This criterion permits geometric interpretation for accuracy of results. LAP method generates best answer by minimizing the distance square error.

Majid Vaziri Sarashk; Sohrab Khanmohammadi; Seyed Mohamad Seyedhoseini; Mahmood Alborzi
Abstract:
Quality of production is one of the most important factors of stability and durability in every business and productional organization. In this regard, ”prevention of error” provides an important role as one of the main factors in designing and implementing management systems(quality management, environment management, immune management) in organizations by using different quality techniques i.e, failure modes and effects analysis(FMEA). The factors considered in traditional failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) for risk assessment are frequency of occurrence (O), severity (S) and detectability (D) of an item failure mode. Because of the subjective, qualitative and dynamic nature of the information and to make the analysis more consistent and logical, an approach using fuzzy logic and system dynamics methodology is proposed.

Abstract:
During the past few years, integration of key decisions areas is regarded as an important ingredient for the success in marketing planning. In this paper, we developed an integrated model, which simultaneously determines optimal price, setup cost, service cost, lot size, Marketing expenditure, inventory holding cost and reliability of the production process for a manufacturer who produces a single product and competes in two different markets. In order to solve the resulted model, we developed a multi-objective geometric programming (GP) approach. In addition, we used compromise programming approach to transform the multiobjective into a single objective function. The study considers demand as a function of marketing expenditure, price, quality and service expenses. We also assume the unit production cost is affected by lot-size, product’s quality and process reliability. Finally we discuss different aspects of the results problem by performing sensitivity analysis.

Improving Performance of Face Verification Systems by Fusing Visible and CCA Based Synthesised Infrared Information
Authors:
Seyed Mohammad Sadegh Tabatabaeifar
Abstract:
Illumination variation is one of the main factors degrading the performance of face verification systems. Near infrared (NIR) and thermal infrared (TIR) face imaging systems are promising ways towards illumination invariant face verification. In this paper, it is shown that when IR face images cannot be observed, learning the relationship between IR information and the corresponding visible images can provide useful source of complementary information about visible light image data. In particular, Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) is used to synthesise the NIR and TIR eigenfaces and fisherfaces from their corresponding visible ones. The CCA-based synthesising algorithm is developed first. It is then shown that by fusing the visible and synthesised NIR and TIR information at the score level, the performance of the face authentication system considerably improves. Due to the properties of IR imaging , more improvement is seen as the visible images are captured under poor illumination conditions.

Abstract:
Today, the increase of competition and unstable conditions in business made various organizations that for sustainability or attaining more profit create a strong supply chain. It can be said that creation and managing such supply chain requires having key information of all the partners of that chain. Despite the environmental instabilities, having access to such information without information systems is impossible. However, only having access to the highest and the best technology levels and information systems to meet the supply chain needs is not adequate, it is required to identify the needs rapidly and plan for the best strategy. The correct information sharing in all levels of chain and partners pave the way to achieve this aim. The present study investigates the role of information technology (IT) in information sharing and improving supply chain performance.

Abstract:
In this paper, a method is presented for controlling the speed of a single phase LSPM motor. For this purpose the method of sensor less vector control are used. To remove this line voltage sensor, the reference voltage supplied by the control flow is used. It also reduces the cost and eliminates the need for low-pass filter that will increase the speed of the system. For deriving the position should be derived from the variable position with respect to time. Derivative is introduced to avoid many ways. In this paper, a phase -locked loop (PLL) is used for this purpose. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Authors:
Hamed Akbari, Mahdiyeh Eslami
Abstract:
This paper investigates the dynamic stability of a single-machine power system in the simultaneous presence of power system stabilizer (PSS) and Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC). The designing problem is restructured as a nonlinear optimization problem and a PSS and a UPFC are designed simultaneously, in a single-machine power system. To solve the optimization problem the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with a time based objective function is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown through the eigenvalue analysis and time- domain simulation. Simulation results show that the simultaneous effect of PSS and UPFC in damping low frequency oscillations is better than the performance of each of these devices where they used alone.
