Modeling of failure by delamination in curved composite beams
Authors:
M.R. Khoshravan; A. Khallili
Abstract:
Delamination of curved GFRP composite beam was modeled by Finite element. The laws of fracture mechanics were used to evaluate delamination of the composite material by the strain energy release rate (SERR) criterion. Theories of Irwin-Kies and virtual crack closure technique (VCCT) were the main theories which were used. The beam was loaded in Mode I of crack growth for a set of test bars and in Mode II for others. As the beam had a curved shape the resolution of the problem was complex. The convexity of the beam, modeling of separation surface, creation due to crack growth, sliding of the separation surfaces in Mode II, the effects of the thickness were the main difficulties. In the presented results the stress counters obtained by finite elements were presented and then the curves of strain energy release rate versus the crack length were drawn.

A New Hybrid Method for Islanding Detection in Inverter Based Distributed Generation Systems
Authors:
Navid Ghaffarzadeh; Mohammad Reza Baniamer
Abstract:
In this paper we have focused on islanding detection in an inverter based system which is connected by a multilevel inverter to the grid. The total harmonic distortion of output voltage waveform of this inverter is optimized by means of optimization algorithms. Since passive methods have a wide non detection zone and from other hand active methods inject disturbance to grid we decide to focus on a hybrid method. In this approach the total harmonic distortion of PCC voltage waveform as a passive parameter is observed and if it shows an un-normal value which is out of threshold range switches to active method. In this method by injecting harmonic to the grid and calculating the impedance, islanding can be detected which causes by using this proposed approach we have a small non detection zone, lower power consumption and harmonic distortion.

A study on evidence in the substantiation of claims in Criminal Matters according to Old and New Islamic Penal Code (A Review on Principles and Generalities)
Authors:
Noormohammad Rigi; Iraj Goldouzian
Abstract:
One of the issues involved in criminal procedure is evidence in the substantiation of claims or positive proof. Although there are similarities between criminal and civil positive proof, criminal positive proof has unique features, which distinguish it from the civil one. Therefore, it was tried here to study one of the preliminary issues related to positive proof, that is, “importance and place of proof”. Criminal actions are taken by public authorities (government) with full power against a defendant who has no support but a series of rules and doctrines such as doctrine of innocence. In criminal proceedings, what distinguishes the just from the unjust, and the right from the wrong is the proof adduced in favor or against the defendant by those who are involved in the procedural proceedings (including prosecutor, plaintiff, witnesses, defendant himself, etc.).

Abstract:
In this paper a model predictive PID Power System Stabilizer (PSS) based on Fuzzy Wavelet Neural Network (FWNN) is proposed to design a stabilizing control to damp the multi-machine power system low frequency oscillations. The auto tuning PSS scheme is made by a combination of fuzzy wavelet neural network structure and a predictive PID controller. Tuning rule is derived from minimizing the model predictive cost function based upon the gradient descent method. To show the effectiveness of the proposed power system stabilizer framework, some numerical results are presented on a 2-area 4-machine power system. The effectiveness and robustness of the designed damping controller is illustrated by considering various operating conditions.

Comparison of Energy of Wavelet Coefficients as a Useful Tool for Interpreting of EN Data
Authors:
F. Mohsenifar, A.H. Jafari
Abstract:
Pitting corrosion behavior of AISA 430 ferritic stainless steel has been studied in artificial sea water using electrochemical noise analysis (ENA) through various algorithms including, noise resistance, Power Spectral Density (PSD) and Energy Distribution Plot (EDP) following 336 hr of immersion. After the first 168 hr, increased noise resistance concurrent to reduced total energy of wavelet coefficients indicate marked decline in corrosion. Fast Fourier Transform analyses illustrates this by a low frequency plateau (white noise). The plots showing weight of wavelet analysis coefficients can be classified into three distinctive regions of, high frequency which by normalization of their values could be regarded as indicative of system energy distribution at different stages of its development.

Quantifying the impact of organizational factors on human reliability using fuzzy cognitive map fuzzy inference system
Authors:
Nooshin Mosayebi Jazi; Davood Jafari
Abstract:
In this work, To increase productivity and production efficiency at any Manufacturing and industrial sector, special attention should be paid to the performance of machines and equipment, but achieving these goals is not possible without efficient and effective human resources. So in order to illustrate the effects of human errors in risk analysis and human reliability, the human role should be clearly modeled, as the Organizational factors and workplace condition are the major roots of human errors. So the focus should be shifted from human error to organizational factors and we should quantify organizational factors. Unfortunately all the studies on quantifying effects of organizations factors on human errors are related to complex and non linear relations of organization on human errors in a regular structure, in addition, there has not been any work on fuzzy inference method, which are enable to detecting complex and non linear relations in fuzzy environments.
