Outcomes of Moral distress in Organizations
Authors:
Malikeh Beheshtifar
Abstract:
Moral distress is a significant concern in today's workplace and it has negative outcomes in workplace. Moral distress consists of negative stress symptoms that occur in situations that involve ethical dimensions. Sources of moral distress may be personal, interpersonal, and/or environmental. Moral distress is defined as painful feelings and/or psychological disequilibrium that results from recognizing an ethically appropriate action, yet not taking it because of such barriers as lack of time, supervisory reluctance, an inhibiting medical power structure, institutional policy, or legal considerations. Groups of people who work together in situations that cause distress may experience poor communication, lack of trust, high turnover rates, defensiveness, lack of collaboration across disciplines, and personal conflict. It recommended other scholars to identify the other factors of organizational conflict, such as identifying a list of factors causing personal conflict. So, the following are recommended: Managers should develop diverse but appropriate strategies to resolve and manage moral distress; efforts should be made by the management to organize seminars/workshops on morality from time to time for the employees.

Abstract:
In this paper, the nuclear conflict of Iran, which is one of the most strategic conflicts at world, is analyzed. Since the decision makers at this conflict persist on own interests, the conflict has been analyzed using non-cooperative game theory approaches. So, The United Nations Security Council (UNSC), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), South Korea and Iran are considered as the key players in the conflict and according to the six main concepts of stability definitions which is constituted Nash Stability, General Meta Rationality (GMR), Sequential Stability (SEQ), Limited-Move Stability (LH) and Non-Myopic Stability, is created a stability state for each players and outcome as well as equilibrium are indicated for overall system. The results indicates that UNSC supports from military attack to Iran at non of states and has no intention to refer the nuclear dossier to IAEA and tightening new sanctions against Iran. In contrast, game theory approaches emphasizes that Iran continues nuclear activities and suspends enrichment not at all.

Abstract:
Sometimes multiple tasks, called events, undertake in a complicated system. In this situation suppose a chance function for decision maker which means the probabilities of satisfying these events. Decision maker is interested in maximizing the chance function. This kind of models are called dependent chance programming and is originally introduced by Liu (1997). The original modeling way tries to achieve decision maker wishes in an uncertain environment that is difficult to model, understand and solve. In this paper we have introduced a new approach to model such problems, but in our approach we will obtain a deterministic environment which is easier.

Hossein Nesari; Mohammad Maleky; Ali Amjadi
Abstract:
In order to compute the displacements in micro-geodesy networks, detecting stable and unstable points is highly momentous, because if they were not detected, there would be datum fault in the network. The most common methods for evaluation of the stability of points are: a) global congruency test, b) minimization of the displacement vector’s L1 norm. In the present article, fifty networks are evaluated using these techniques. Nowadays a variety of institutes and companies in Iran are responsible for computing massive constructions, predominantly dams; and also supervising the projects which are done. The introduction of a scientific solution based on numerical facts can be an effective way to put an end to some of the ongoing problems in the industry of this country. The purpose of the present study is comparing the two aforementioned methods and referring to some of their advantages and disadvantages which have been taken into account in the following parts. The results of this research indicate that L1 minimization method has been used to determine stable and unstable points which are more efficient. After all it is better to use both methods and the average of two results be taken as the stable point, because it is more close to certainty.

Problems of Social Undermining in the Organizations
Authors:
Malikeh Beheshtifar
Abstract:
Research has shown that social support plays an important role in managing psychological problems. Lack of social support has been found to be one of the factors that lead to many psychological problems. One of the anti-social behaviors is introduce as social undermining. Studies show that social undermining is the opposite of social support. Social undermining is a behavior intended to hinder, over time, the ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships, work-related success, and favorable reputation. Social undermining can take on many different forms and the manner in which it negatively affects a relationship may vary as well. The first form is direct actions. Direct undermining actions are actions in which the perpetrator will excoriate, make denigrating comments about, outright reject, or belittling a person or their ideas. Other variables to social undermining such as verbal and physical forms include making derogatory remarks about a coworker or verbally slighting them and are considered an active form of undermining. The outcomes of social undermining could summarized as loneliness, boredom, aimlessness, a decline in well-being, depression, decreased self-esteem, and psychosomatic symptoms, anger, dislike, and low life quality. This causes to low satisfaction, performance, productivity, and turnover in workplace. It is noted that high levels of undermining and support from the same source were associated with negative outcomes. However, support from one source (supervisors or coworkers) appeared to only modestly attenuate the negative effects of social undermining from another sources. It seems that intervention and training in the area of negative employee relationships addressing undermining behaviors would be beneficial.

Habibollah Danayi; Iman Azizai; Elham Shabanlo
Abstract:
This research aims on identifying fundamental analysis effectiveness aspects and exploring their impacts on stock price prediction, and also exploring whether it has necessary ability of technical analysis on stock price prediction in investing firms. For this purpose, 4 elite investing firms with different investing abilities from 1387 to 1391 were selected. Fundamental analysis aspects consisting 3 aspects of “economic level”, “industry level” and “firm level” were evaluated by questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed among 40 people as financial analysts and experts of 4 firms. In this research, to analysis fundamental data (simple linear regressions, standardized regression coefficient, correlation coefficient and) and to analyze technical analysis data, motive average (MA), weight motive average (WMA) and exponential motive average (EMA) were used. Research results have shown that among fundamental analysis aspects just firm level aspect has positive impact on stock price prediction in investing firms. Results achieved from stock rice prediction technical analysis for various firms with high and low capital indicate that weight motive average index is the best, and exponential motive average is the worst method to predict firms stock price predictions. Generally, it can be concluded from this research results that technical analysis indexes; especially, weight motive average has high validity ability to predict stock price in investing firms than fundamental analysis; therefore, using eight motive averages to predict stock price in investing firms, beside its using firm level aspect as the main fundamental analysis variable to predict stock price in investing firms, can have the best results.

In this paper, IRAN Insurance Co. as a governmental insurance was compared with SAMAN Insurance Co. as a private one, on the basis of Osterwalder ontology that is a famous road-map tool for comparing two or more businesses by a same strategic scale. By taking a qualitative approach, structures of Customers and Infrastructure were compared in these two insurances. By using Chi-square test method, the results of research show that the structure of customers is similar but the structure of infrastructure is different. Analysis of results shows that similarity of customers is related to closed cycle of market structure in Iran that force companies to copy each others’ economic behaviors and then no activity of any foreign rivals and also old methods of governance. The difference of infrastructure is due to the basis of these two companies, e.g. private-basics of SAMAN, tendency to creativity and innovation, and more developed representative network of IRAN.

Abstract:
Today, managing the generated raw alerts by different sensors of intrusion detection systems has become an important issue in which sensors with different capabilities are located at various places in the network. All intrusion detection systems are able to generate alerts in the event of an intrusion into network; however, due to high volume of alerts generated by these systems and the production of false alerts as well, the system is not able to manage and analyze the generated alerts by itself. The disadvantage of these systems has been caused to propose various methods to overcome the problem and one of these methods is the alert correlation. Using the method, a complete management can be applied on generated alerts by intrusion detection systems. By ignoring the false alerts, it is also possible to reduce the volume of generated alerts by these systems and make them easier to analyze. This paper reviews the structure of available methods of alert correlation.

Corporate Governance and Investment Efficiency
Authors:
Mohammadreza Ola; Mahrokh Shakeri
Abstract:
Corporate governance has garnered considerable attention in the wake of the recent global financial crisis and is now emerging as a central issue for regulators and public companies. Jensen and Meckling (1976) conclude that managers have motivation to maximize their wealth, and they tend to choose investment opportunities that are not in favor of the interests of shareholders. Information asymmetry between firms and shareholders can reduce the efficiency of investment due to moral hazard and adverse selection that could lead to the occurrence of under-investment and/or over-investment. Implementation of corporate governance plays an important role to prevent these things so as to improve investment efficiency. The main purpose of this study is to examine the impact of corporate governance on investment efficiency in the companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange. Our sample includes the collected data from 108 nonfinancial companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange from 2007 to 2011. Final Results show that ownership concentration has a negative and significant effect on investment efficiency; institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on investment efficiency, and board size has no significant effect on investment efficiency.

Abstract:
Study of base shear coefficients in near fault regions indicates that the 2800 earthquake bylaw alone cannotbe sufficient in these areas. Also, the survey was conducted, it was determined that the peak ground acceleration values, the shear wave velocity in the 30 meter layer of the ground surface depends. Hence by reducing in the shear wave velocity, peak ground acceleration values increased generally. Also using of attenuation relationships proportional to region can be very effective in determining the peak ground acceleration. Peak ground acceleration of deterministic and probabilistic methods can calculated [10, 30]. Using the relationships of development of earthquake bylaws 2800, the base shear coefficient can be calculated in near fault areas.
